Situated approximately 40 minutes west of Napier and Hastings, Willowford Cottage can be found nestled under the Kaweka Ranges - a prime spot for hunting, fishing, tramping and most importantly, relaxing!

As our guests, you will enjoy your very own piece of paradise - 7ha of private native bush, forestry and farmland as well as a beautiful terraced stream with two good swimming holes. The perfect place to relax and unwind and an excellent spot to let the kids have a real taste of rural New Zealand. Willowford Cottage is surrounded by the family farm - Wrekin - which has been in the family for generations.

Accommodation is in the form of a 1950s, renovated, self-contained farm cottage, with two bedrooms and one bathroom, open-plan kitchen and living area and a large deck to enjoy the beautiful Hawke's Bay weather. Fully fenced in, you won't have to worry about those little ones wandering off onto the surrounding farmland. If the extended family and friends want to join you there is plenty of room to pitch tents or park up the campervan. You are welcome to bring your dogs and/or horses.

HORSE TREKKING - Bring your horse on holiday with you or enjoy one of our many genuine, back-country horse treks open to anyone - see Horse Trekking

Come on out and either relax and enjoy the slower pace of rural life - listen to the tuis in the trees and the sound of the Willowford Stream while enjoying a good book, or take part in farm tours and ‘have a go' at seasonal farm activities on the family farm or horse trekking. We also have glow-worms if you are up for a bit of night adventure.

And that's just what we personally can offer you - there is also the hunting, fishing and tramping within 10 minutes drive to tempt you.

We love our lifestyle and believe that everyone should have the chance to be a part of real New Zealand. We hope to make your stay with us as memorable and treasured as we possibly can.

We are happy to pick up and drop off at Hastings or Napier bus depots and Napier Airport.

Suz and Campbell Bremner
