Farm Activities

Surrounding Willowford Cottage is "Wrekin", an 850 acre sheep and beef farm which is in its third generation of the Ward family.

Throughout the year different activities take place on the farm, from docking to lambing to shearing with the sheep; or calf marking, drenching etc with the cattle.

We also do a lot of agricultural work on the farm – baleage, cultivation etc which can all be viewed if interested. You can even ‘have a go' if you like – try your hand at crutching or docking, or even mustering on horseback.
