About Us

Brought up as a country girl through and through, Suz returned to manage the family farm - Wrekin - (which surrounds the cottage) in 2001 and did so for 7 years.

Campbell and Suz met through the local Young Farmers' Club and married in 2006. Two years later a baby was on the way and Suz handed the reins of Wrekin over to Campbell, who now manages the property. Baby Jack arrived in October 2008 and Suz's role of farmer switched to that of mother.

However, as Jack got older the need to ‘do something' meant that Suz and Campbell started looking at the possibility of setting up a farmstay.

Willowford Cottage was the perfect spot to do so and was purchased off Suz's parents in March 2009.

We have a real passion for farming and horses and really want to share that with others who are not as fortunate as we are to have it at our fingertips.
